Thanks to people like you who have written to MPs, taken part in marches and made a noise about poverty, great steps forward have been made in the battle against world poverty.

Since the last election, all the main parties have committed to legislate for the aid targets of 0.7% of national income, the UK has the first Climate Bill in the world and billions of pounds of developing country debt has been cancelled.

There are lots of ways you can help make politicians vote global.  Why not join a campaign group, contact your candidates, write to your local paper or hold an event?
